Setting
10th October 1940. During the morning, the classroom
recreation is set in a village school soon after the beginning of the
heaviest bombing raid over London.
Schoolroom
History Off the Page will bring
all the materials needed to recreate a 1940s classroom in the hall.
The activities and role-play of the morning seek to explore the dramatic
changes in children's lives.
Afternoon Session
The afternoon session develops the pupils'
historical investigative skills through artefact study and the use of an
Anderson shelter.
