A Day of Book Making & Paper Making

Off the Page will bring all the equipment and materials necessary for up to about 60 children to be fully engaged in an exciting activity.

By the end of the day, each child will have made their own beautifully bound book using traditional bookbinding techniques.  They will also have made their own paper.

Whenever possible, Off the Page will bring a selection of professionally produced marbled papers for the children to use.

Off the Page will also bring a display of traditional book making equipment.

During the day, the Off the Page leader will also have introduced some ideas for stories, illustrations, title pages etc., for pupils to use in the preparation of their finished book.
