Text comes alive in our hands –on study of every day life in the Bible lands at the time of Jesus. Learners try out tasks familiar to Jesus, his family and friends: activity helps to bring alive some of the characters in scripture. Opportunities to handle facsimile artefacts and recreations provide scope to explore the wide cultural differences of that time and place. KS1 or KS2 material can be offered.

Christian, Hebrew and historical writings in a range of translations are the basis for the full day: they have been chosen to support national and locally agreed syllabuses. Texts illustrate a range of scriptural genres.

Festivals and/or worship may be incorporated if schools and/or minister of religion have discussed arrangements with us prior to the booking. Fuller information is sent with the booking confirmation.
