December 1897: At a local school the class is permitted a seasonal flavour to its routine lessons. The spirits of philanthropy, self-improvement and merriment emerge!

History Off the Page will bring all the materials needed to recreate a Victorian classroom in the hall.

Gifts and Decorations

The new enthusiasm for these will come alive in a typical Victorian handiwork activity. Be prepared to share the fun - and the clearing up!

A Music Hall

Children [and adults] are supported in trying out favourite styles of Victorian family entertainment to the delight of all.

A Victorian story reading or Christmas carol will often be included in the day - in Off The Page’s own tradition! All our staff are experienced teachers and storytellers who enjoy working with large groups of children.
