We Need Workshop Help
Off the Page Ltd. seeks a workshop coordinator to care for equipment, place orders and support its teachers at its Dry Drayton office.
Founded in Cambridge in 1996, Off the Page sends experienced teachers into schools to bring history alive for children. We use drama, role-play and hands-on crafts to engage children in historical events, science and other topics.
Our workshop staff maintains the equipment and materials our teachers use in schools. These materials range from strips of Egyptian papyrus to Victorian schoolroom furnishings. Staff also prepare and ship virtual workshops to schools nationwide. The workshop coordinator will organise these activities, including helping teachers with unloading and restocking at the end of their day. The coordinator will also order supplies and equipment.
The successful candidate will be organised and able to manage time effectively. They will also be enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team.
The position is full-time, with hours from 10 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. The anticipated salary is £24,700 p.a. (plus a non-contributory pension scheme), dependent on experience. Benefits include 28 days’ paid holiday each year, plus bank holidays. The office closes for a period over Christmas.
Off the Page is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. It expects all staff to share this commitment.
We particularly welcome applications from under-represented groups, including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or religion.
